Cousins!

"A Hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."
Ethan, Brandon, J.T., Ashley, Sami, Brayden, Hailey, Mollie, Amberly, Abrielle and Rileigh
Over the holidays, we got a picture of all the kids! It was quite a project, but it turned out pretty cute. It was wonderful to have all the kids together and they loved seeing their cousins!

Snow in Mesa?!

SNOW?
Yes, it actually did snow at our house a few weeks ago. Okay, there were a few flakes of snow that fell, but we were so excited! :) I heard on the news that snow was on its way, so I headed outside with my video camera, my camera and quickly dressed Hailey in the warmest clothes I had for her. Then we sat and waited....and waited... and then a few snow flakes fell! How exciting! haha. Here we are waiting for the snow! "What are you so excited about Mom?"

Who is that peeking out of the door?

This is the first time since I have moved here that I have seen snow fall at our house! It was pretty neat...

Christmas 2010....and Hello Again!

Did you miss us? :)
I really can't believe it has been almost a whole year since I have updated our blog! I sort of gave up on our blog, however in a very rare moment, my husband was out at a movie and Hailey was sleeping... I actually had nothing to do! What else could be better to do than to update our blog! I really loved having our blog so we could share all our pictures with our family near and far. I plan to stick with it this year as my New Years resolution. Please come back and check back often! Here are some pictures from this past Christmas. I figured it was a good place to start! Love you all!Christmas Eve

Jingle Bells!
Brayden.. you are so handsome!
Opening up the presents we gave...
Me... Hello!
Brayden came up with the greatest idea. He said we should sing the Twelve Days of Christmas and when it came to "Five Golden Rings" the guys would stand up, make a circle with their arms and sing "Five Golden Rings" as loud as they could. It was so funny and definitely a tradition we are going to keep. Oh yeah, when it came to the ladies dancing, all the girls stood up and danced/sang. Way to go Brady!!!
FIVE GOLDEN RINGS!

Grandma and Grandpa

Grandpa Rooney sent us a beautiful present to open on Christmas Eve. We opened it up and tears immediately started to fall from my eyes! My dad sent "The Night Before Christmas" but the cool thing was that when I opened it up, it was his voice. He read the whole story. It was a very sweet present and one that is priceless. Since we couldn't see you Grandpa Rooney at Christmas, this was the next best thing. Hailey loves this book and we still listen to the 'Santa book' every night. Loved this Dad... Thanks so much.

Christmas Morning! Here Hailey comes walking down the stairs, with froggie in hand of course, to check out if Santa came!
Santa came!
Our Christmas angel. She had the cutest Christmas outfits this year.

More food? Mom and Bob, you really out did yourselves. But, it was delicious!

Sandy came and sat right down on Aunt Janet's lap!!

Mom, are you really that excited about your new watch or are you exaggerating
just a little tiny bit?!

Grandma and Grandpa with the new bird addition to Grandpa's silly Santa hat...

Hailey does have a tendency to close her eyes when she smiles and does her 'silly face'...this is the best I have of her.. haha

This one is for you Grandpa Rooney. Thanks for the dolly that goes potty! Someday I might learn from her and actually start going on the big girl potty! (We can only hope...) :)

Hailey and her Mickey 'House' (as she calls it) stocking..

What a smile!

We hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year! I hope 2011 brings much happiness, health and love!
